Ombre Bangle Bracelet {tutorial}

It's another manic Monday at our house, how about yours?
We've got homeschool, play dates, cooking classes, a trip to the library, dinner dates, working on new products for the shop....just to name a few. I wanted to stop by to share a quick and easy jewelry tutorial with you before I have to start lunch for 2 little princesses.

It's LOVE !
Do you remember the Ombre Vintage Key Necklace I shared with you over the weekend? Well, it needed a bracelet to go along with it.

Here's what you need...plus scissors and a hot glue gun and glue sticks...

You can find bangle bracelets at Michael's for $1. The one I bought was already covered, so I used my scissors to snip off the threads.

Then I glued the end of the darkest embroidery floss to the inside of the bangle and started wrapping...and wrapping...and wrapping. Then when I decide I've wrapped enough with that shade, I snip the end and glue it to the inside of the bangle.
Repeat until you have used all shades and the bracelet is covered. You don't have to wrap perfectly...it adds to the awesomeness of the bangle if you don't.

Love love-love-love loooooooove! (sung in operatic voice)

Doesn't it go perfectly with the Ombre Vintage Key Necklace?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Come back by tomorrow for an {almost} FREE teacher gift!

Have a great week, friends!

Come join the fashion linky party with me!

Partying with some of my faves!

Great project for any age. Next time I'm at michaels or Hobby lobby, I'm going to pick up a few bracelets. Then we'll have our next rainy day project all set for the girls! Pinned.
